Courses commence with registration at 9.30 am on the first day (the first session commences at 10.00 am) and finish at approximately 4.15pm on the third day. Candidates must be present for all sessions.
Drinks and nibbles are held on the first evening and is included in the cost of the course. Candidates are encouraged to attend as it is an opportunity to get to know colleagues and instructors.
Candidates are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation, costs and living expenses other than meals and refreshments served during the course.
As a nurse participant you will complete three scenarios – one cardiac, one serious illness and one trauma. You are expected to undertake all the testing that occurs during the course. This includes skill testing at the end of Day 1 and the MCQ on Day 3. As a nurse participant you have the choice of undertaking a test scenario on Day 3.
