Wellington APLS Course 17-19 August 2022

Registration is closed for this event

The Advanced Paediatric Life Support course is an internationally recognised three-day program for increasing your confidence and skills in managing paediatric emergencies.   The course is suitable for doctors, nurses and paramedics looking to increase their confidence and clinical skills in paediatric acute care.

You will learn a structured approach to emergency paediatric care over three interactive, practical days.

Courses commence with registration at 9.30 am on the first day (the first session commences at 10.00 am) and finish at approximately 4.15pm on the third day. Candidates must be present for all sessions.

A course dinner (or drinks and nibbles) is held on the first evening and is included in the cost of the course. Candidates are encouraged to attend as it is an opportunity to get to know colleagues and instructors.  This can occur while New Zealand is at Level 1 for the Covid-19 response but would need to be cancelled if the country moves to Level 2.

Candidates are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation, costs and living expenses other than meals and refreshments served during the course.
